Cultivate others

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realised that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13

Here’s the bottom line for today: when people encounter Jesus, their lives are changed and others should see the difference. First of all, can this be said of you since you encountered Jesus? Do you walk with Him everyday such that people can say of you: “I can tell that this person has been with Jesus”? Once that is in place, the spill over of that is that you carry Jesus wherever you go and as you interact with others, it needs to be said of them that they have been with Jesus.

It is in fact our calling to “cultivate others” as seen in Biblical commands to make disciples, teach them, instruct, correct, rebuke, be an example, etc. Today, how will the lives of others be different because they have encountered you? Be intentional about building others up and making them better people. You are an ambassador of Christ right where you are.
